Our story started as a dream, a desire, and what we believed to be our destiny. After some time, we realised that our dreams and desires were widely shared and that is what ignited our passion to create what we call “NICHE” today.

“NICHE” stands for the Nurturing Institute for Children’s Health and Education. It’s a place, a platform, and most importantly, a community of like-minded child practitioners and service providers that provide a unique (‘niche’) experience for both children and their parents.

It’s been proven that children who receive the right care are likely to develop strong thinking, social, emotional, and language skills and behaviours. These skills eventually become the driving force behind their personal, social and economic success. The nurturing of these skills is needed now more than ever, with the advancements of technology, exposure to harmful influences and unhealthy foods severely impacting the development of our children.

This is where NICHE comes in. We provide information and access to a vast range of health and educational services in a safe and fun environment. We also provide supporting products and services for a holistic approach to your child’s development.

As parents ourselves, we’ve experienced this need first-hand and longed for a single space that allowed us to better understand our children and to conveniently receive the right care, without the anxious feeling that often accompanies traditional medical rooms.

And that’s how NICHE was born. A platform and space for medical practitioners committed to working together towards our vision of being the leading collaborative brand that nurtures the holistic development of children’s health and education in South Africa.
